We're the capital for loyal (OH, PLEASE!) migrants.................was the boast on page 7 of yesterdays Manchester Evening News!
Now I wouldn't have normally picked this ideous left wing rag up, but, owing to the fact it was left on the bus seat next to me and was opened at page 7, I was intrigued to read more of what the pro-multiculturlist Don Frame had to say in this 'EXCLUSIVE' report:
Here I will share with you; some of the content starting with these bullet points:
- City leads the way for Citizenship Ceremonies
- 8,000 take oath of allegiance to queen
- 2,383 ceremonies in city last year

Quote:The city's Register Office at Heron House off Albert Square is the busiest in the country, conducting group ceremonies for up to 25 people at least twice a week. Its reputation is so good that many people from outside the area are choosing to have their ceremonies there instead of their local office.
In March the Lord Mayor presented certificates to 50 new citizens during a ceremony in the town hall, and deputy council leader Val Stevens did the honours the following day at a ceremony in the register office.
Ms Stevens said: "We take it as a great compliment that so many people use our citizenship service which is respectful and dignified so that they can take on British nationality and also become Mancunians."
The report also included a map of the world which showed from which continent our 'new' patriots had travelled from, and charts indicting how many had been given this prestigious honour over the years and in which country they originally resided; the figures of which I'll replicate for you below:
