Theft! Racism! and A.N.Other? Welcome to the World of the 'Imbecilic' Wigan MBC.

Well, it certainly looks like our council officials are digging their heels in, or are they just burying their heads in the sand? Over the deleterious comments made by Mr Elliot Brown toward the indigenous Pie-eater and Lobbygobbler! (earlier post below, or a more analytic and humorous look here: http://wiganbnp.blogspot.com/ ) I have yet to receive any update on this 'on-going' disciplinary hearing! Have you?

Mind you, saying that, it did take the WMBC four years to cotton on to the fact that Wigan Constituency Labour Party Chair Dorothy Abbott (1), who helped herself to more than £28,000 in incapacity benefit over a four-year period despite also working for Wigan Council!!




Then what about Joe Shaw (2) a former Wigan Labour councillor who has been re-bailed by police investigating allegedly having child pornography on his home computer and is due to return to Wigan Police Staion on the 14th April ! (Very soon) Joe Shaw, 40, was arrested at Wigan Town Hall last summer.

And then there's this charming fellow (3)? This Labour Party councillor has been handed a three-year football banning order after racially abusing former Latics defender Pascal Chimbonda - David Phythian hurled the sickening insults during Latics' epic 3-3 draw with Spurs last April. UpHolland ward councillor and Latics fan Phythian, 54, admitted using abusive or insulting words towards Chimbonda that were racially aggravated.

What a lovely bunch! It's nice to know we are all in such safe hands with the Labour Party isn't?

Hopefully, we'll soon be able to add Wigan's Hate Crime Co-ordinator Mr Elliott Brown to the list in the coming months?
